Exploring Beaver Lake

Today was the most perfect day to enjoy the great outdoors! We went to Beaver Lake to explore, explore, explore!

We camped out near the lake for a while as Nicholas threw tiny stones at the waterbugs, waved to all the kayakers and canoers...

and checked out the scenery with his "oculars."

Nicholas walked well over a mile and a half (at least) and was so astonishing observant to everything. He carried his trusty "oculars and angifying glasses" the entire time and pointed out every single fallen tree in the forest!

William refused to keep his hat on, since he just loves to daze up into the trees and coo with the filtered light and shadows. When we asked Nicholas if he enjoyed Beaver Lake he summed it up with "yup, yup, yup!"
