Monday was our special day with Grammy. We took full advantage of the extra set of hands and hit the beach!
Finally, Nicholas got to experience some good sandcastle building sand! He had a blast and was especially messy by the end of our trip (I mean sand everywhere imaginable!)
Filling our "lake" required plenty of trips in and out of the water.
Grammy even took him for a dip - his first real swim in a lake. He crept like an alligator...
as William hung out in some makeshift shade.
What a fun morning we had, but honestly, Mommy and Grammy are glad we can cross that trip off the summer agenda. I'm still finding sand!
