After denying it was his birthday during his "Happy Birthday" tribute in his crib, Nicholas was excited to see some "ooo presents" waiting for him downstairs. He went straight to the piano!

Nicholas played the birthday song as I was left to do the singing.
Blowing out the candles - oh, is he ready for Saturday!
Nicholas' favorite color is orange - and he loves "punkins." I had plenty of fun ideas of healthy snacks to bring to playgroup this morning, but in the end, I knew he'd be most excited for pumpkin cookies.
Nicholas got a card from cousin Lexi, Uncle Alan and Aunt Laureen. He loved the doggie on it and placed it right on his piano.
When Gammy asked where Nicholas would like to go to dinner on his special day, I knew the answer - Friendly's! We had a yummy, messy meal with lots of entertainment from our guest of honor!
