We have a couple books that mention candy apples. Well, Nicholas has been talking non-stop about candy apples - so we decided to make some.
First he had to wash the apples, which he loved doing.
He even asked for a washcloth!
Then we added the sticks as he counted, "nine, ten, two!"
I guess the candy coating was taking too long to cook and he got impatient.
For dinner, Nicholas had mac & cheese and a candy apple (and that was after his cookie from Gammy). Oh well, I guess anything goes on Halloween!
