After sleeping in until nearly 8:00 (this has been a refreshing change the last couple of days), we were off to wine country to visit with Uncle Alan, Aunt Laureen and Alexis. Ever since getting free play in the truck, Nicholas will do anything to get to the driver's seat.
(Can we say finger prints everywhere!)

We had a delicious breakfast in Seneca Falls and then it was off to the wineries. As you can imagine, the fancy winery wasn't childproofed, so Nicholas and I explored the gorgeous grounds.
He challenged himself to stand on every rock in the perennial gardens.
This was the first time Cousin Alexis met Nicholas. She is a huge baby lover and was loads of fun! Nicholas got to impress her with his rock throwing skills.
Oh, that Uncle Alan gives the best kisses!

The grass was a little long, so Nicholas worked on giving them a headstart at trimming it. I love how he finds his own entertainment wherever we go.
Nicholas was so proud of himself for getting up on this bench on his own. He beamed with excitement every one of the dozen times he pulled off the trick.
