Off to Wegman's!

"Today I got to drive the Wegman's shopping cart and loved it! It was like a whole new shopping experience from this new perspective! We bought yogurt for me to try - but I wanted nothing to do with it at dinner ...these teeth coming in have me all upset!"

Maybe This Suction Cup Will Make My Teeth Come In Faster...

After spending the afternoon with Great Papa and Rudy, Nicholas needed a good bath to clean-off all the dogie kisses. He's been very protective of allowing us to check his tooth progress (let alone get a picture!). We caught a quick peak and can see some white bumps!

I Get To Be A Little Cranky - LOOK What's Going On!

"I just wasn't myself today at cousin Max's Baptism- not interested in eating, pretty grumpy and very clingy (okay, so I'm ALWAYS clingy). Can you believe it took Mommy and Daddy until dinner time to notice my teethers coming in!"
Any bets when we'll see the pearly whites???

Christmas In July?

When everyone was surely sleeping at 6:50 this morning, Nicholas was helping Mommy do the dishes. At least these bubbles were "saved" from his mouth!
Saint Nicholas, aren't you a little early for Christmas!

Another New Piece of Furniture for Nicholas???

"This chair is the best Mommy!!!"
"Now where's the remote control - I think I have a new episode of Sesame Street waiting for me."

Nicholas had us in stitches with his knee slapping - did you catch it on the second video? We made many attempts to get him to do it after Daddy told him a joke - but it just didn't happen today. We'll keep trying - maybe our jokes just weren't funny enough for him!

Life Is Great!

Oh what fun feet are to play with!

On the Move

Nicholas was all around the family room floor this morning - rolling and beginning to creep. He finally came to a stop around his Jumperoo - where Mommy was able to capture the moment.
"I think I can...I think I can..."

So Long Uncle Don...

"After a very sad farewell to Great Uncle Scorch, us boys had some fun playtime at Grandma & Grandpa's."

Dillon sure was happy he got Nicholas' favorite frog."Meanwhile, I kept spinning Old MacDonald on the silo for everyone's enjoyment."
"It's been a long day Mommy... I really don't want to show-off my tricks for Aunt Angie right now. Can't I just hang out with a little music going."

"Ah ha - I got the frog from Dillon!"

Instead of posing for a picture with Nicholas, Dillon went exploring and found Grandma's garden sign.

"He promptly brought it over to our picture site and whacked me over the head with the darn thing! Mommy, stop taking my pictures and give me feel-better kisses!!!" With babies safely in Grandma & Grandpa's hands, Mommy & Aunt Angela went for a spin on Mommy's old motorcycle! Now there's 2 responsible Mamas - no helmets, no insurance, unregistered vehicle - but it sure was worth all the risk - we haven't laughed that hard in a LLLLLLONG time!

When It's Hot Out - We Eat Out!

"I learned Mommy's rule of cooking - no cooking when its over 90 degrees (even though she was a cooking maniac last night)! After a nice lunch with Olivia & Brandi we went out for Daddy's favorite wings. I of course enjoyed squash...
...and had my first encounter with a lemon."

Playdate for the Parents

We had a great time at the Morton's house! Nicholas enjoyed playing with Jake and Baby Katie.
"See Nicholas, this is the magic button that makes all the cool music play!"
"Nicholas, will you hurry up and finish your dinner - I'm waiting for you to come swing with me."
Amy caught a great shot of Daddy and Nicholas.
Katie chilled over her Daddy's shoulder. She was so excited to have company she decided she couldn't miss any of the action with a nap all afternoon.
"Hey guys, there's a bunny on the other side of the fence!"
Jake amazed us with a display his very advanced gross motor skills when he side stepped along the bottom fence rail to keep a close eye on the bunny.
Nicholas was all tired-out by evening.
"Thanks for sharing your comfy swing with me Jake!"

The Relyea's Return to Restaurant Outings

Today we had our best restaurant outing in the past 8 months! Nicholas fell asleep on the way to breakfast AND (most importantly) stayed sleeping until we nearly got our food!
That was just the beginning....
then he enjoyed a delicious bottle with a little help from his bottle coozie!
Here's to the many joys of our bottle drinker! Where should we go tomorrow???

Muscle Man

Nicholas in his muscle shirt at the YMCA.
He is a super sport during Mommy's ab class - he loves to watch all the action. With all the fun toys I lug in for him - this guy is most entertained by Mommy's sun glasses!

Happy 4th of July!

Nicholas went to camp for the first time today. He got to see Daddy's lesson on skipping rocks into the lake and inspect the house for unwanted tenants.
"Ummm, Grandma, I think you missed some spider webs up near that ceiling fan!"
(Would you say we're expecting a first tooth soon? Holy drooling!!!)

8-Months-Old Already??!!

Where has time gone - our little man is already 8-months old!
Nicholas enjoyed a swing ride at the neighborhood playground this morning.
"Mommy, I can't believe you are advertising my age at the park. I was hoping this one would fly under the radar...unless I get presents for it!"

The True Son of An OT - Nicholas Masters His First Life Skill

What A Drippy Day!

Nicholas has had a runny nose and has been drooling like crazy over the past 2 days....could this be a sign of teeth to come?
"Hey guys, look at my poor swollen gums!"
Mommy and Nicholas snap a picture together after Nicholas showed-off his hand wiping skills for the camera.
"Yup, I know I'm 'the man!'"

Celebrating the 4th With Marissa

"This weekend, I've had a special visitor - my oldest cousin Marissa. Today we took a road trip to The Talamo''s camp at Henderson Harbor for the Annual 4th Party. It was so much fun having someone in the back seat with me!"
"Usually its me experiencing things for the first time, but today it was Marissa's turn. She went out on a kayak with Ciara for the first time...and came back dry..." "... and she went on a jet ski too! Way to go Marissa!"
Marissa and Uncle Freddy enjoyed the day.
"My big event was having a baba with Grandpa. He was so impressed that I could hold the bottle all by myself, but then I liked holding Grandpa's finger as he held the bottle. Everyone was sooooo impressed with my new discovery of drinking bottles - especially Mommy!"
"I even fell asleep in Grandpa arms - but just for a few minutes. I didn't want to miss any of the fun at camp!"
