Nicholas had an official meltdown when Mommy went to leave the house. He ran to get his shoes and repeatedly said, "Nicholas gets his shoes on to go with Mommy...and I need my coat too." He knew everything he needed to try to sneak out with me, including his hat and Mommy's purse. Too bad I don't get this enthusiasm and eager independence every time we're leaving!
