Cinnamon Ornaments

Olivia came over to make applesauce cinnamon ornaments! She was a little hesitant to take a turn at stirring, so Nicholas gladly took on the task.

He kept her posted on his progress, while she looked on.

Once we had dough, the kiddos loved making shapes. They each had their favorites - Nicholas loved all the trees and stars and Olivia made a million teddy bears and rocking horses.

Nicholas was fully enthusiastic for our activity and cheered for himself. (He also insisted we need to "paint the trees" and went to retrieve his paint brush to pretend paint.)

Such concentration.

Why is everything more fun when standing on chairs!

At some point, someone mentioned a kiss - and Livi was all for it. Unfortunately, my camera was too slow to respond for my attempt to catch the adorable moment.

I just love how they pay attention to each others' every move.
