This morning, Grandma joined us for some animal sightings at the zoo!
We went straight for the elephants, who are always a favorite.
Nicholas loved walking the zoo on his own, so he could do all his exploring. Even more exciting than the animals were the little berries he discovered at this garden. (Note to self: Next time, we'll skip the zoo admission and take a nature walk!)
It's been a while since we've made it to the zoo, and I have to admit my animal recognizing skills have been replaced with other useless information. According to this picture, Nicholas and Grandma were trying to figure out if we were looking at a moose or a really huge deer too!
Nicholas checked out each and every penguin paintings to find the perfect size for him.
But the mercats got the biggest smile today!
