Today seemed like a day of failed attempts. First thing this morning - we went for a walk - but it was too hot, so we came home early. Then an insurance hassle at Wegman's in our attempt for baby vitamins. In the afternoon, Nicholas was fast asleep by the time we got to Manlius for our Mom's Group picnic. But we kept our hopes up to end the day with a delicious gyro at the Greek Fest. Daddy was all excited as we approached the Festival - expecting that since we were arriving before Nicholas' "witching hour" we'd get a great parking spot. To our surprise - the Festival doesn't start until NEXT weekend!!! So, we decided to hit Varsity's for pizza.
Daddy explained to Nicholas that this is the same spot we ate at when he was just 5 days old (not to mention all those dinners at Varsity's before going to our Birth Classes around the corner). Boy Nicholas, you sure have grown since November!
Despite the difficulties of the day, it was all well worth it to watch Nicholas enjoy checking-out the hustle & bustle up at the Hill. He's already a great people-watcher!
