Nicholas was a great sport at Make & Take on Friday. He had a blast helping Mommy make room in the freezer and playing with all the frozen foods.

The Ball Pit Was A Hit!

This afternoon, Nicholas went for a dip in Ava's ball pit and in her pool!

"I'm trying to figure out the fun of this ball pit...none of these balls fit in my mouth! Thanks Josie, I'll try that green one!"

In all, we had a wonderful time at Sarah and Ava's - thanks girls!

Nicholas Gets Into Trouble

"This morning when Mommy was in the shower, I managed to grab onto the monitor cord and make a huge crash that scared the bigeebers out of me AND Mommy!"

Over The River and Through The Woods...

We've had such a busy week spending time with the family...especially with cousin Dillion coming to town. On Tuesday, we had our morning walk with Grandma. She brought us to the wooded trail near her house. "Then I had Dillon over for an afternoon playdate. I taught him how to turn the pages for me when I played the piano."
"Ummm, Cous - I wasn't quite ready for a page turn!"

The Attack of Nicholas

"Ooo ooo ooo, there's that black furry thing again. I think she's close enough for me to get. "

" Yeah Mommy, keep her attention with that silly camera...I'm almost there!"
Will Zoey be Nicholas' enticement for crawling? He was able to scooch his bottom along the floor today in his sitting position. What do you think?

Can't Mommy and Daddy Take A Hint?

"Mommy and I went to pick strawberries this morning. On the way home, I was able to grab the bag of berries that were next to my car seat. Do you think that would give Mommy a hint!!!"

"In the afternoon, the Mom's Group met over at Jake's house. He has the best swing! Daddy, can you please build me one??? Look how much fun I was having!"

Exploring New Foods

Nicholas LOVED checking on the garden today. He really wanted to get at the handful of strawberries that were ready to be picked.

Sorry honey, no strawberries until your first birthday. How about trying a Mum Mum?

Lions, Tigers, But No Bears

"What a perfect day for the zoo! Thanks Penguin Livi for joining us!"

Even if Nicholas didn't see the huge elephants - he sure noticed their smell! Let's just say the zoo was a multisensory experience for the babies!


The animals were very attracted to Nicholas and Olivia. We got up-close to the donkeys, lama, monkeys, swans and penguins.
Nicholas giggled when he first saw a penguin swim by - they gave us a great show today.

"Just making sure you're close by Livi. What do you think of these animals? At least they don't smell!"

We Always Knew Nicholas Had A Great Heart!

Nicholas went to get a once-over on his heart today. He was super cooperative for his EKG and echocardiogram. He really enjoyed watching the monitor screens - already into the electronics like his Daddy!

"I don't have time to smile for the camera - I'm trying to figure out this beepy machine."
Daddy joined us at the appointment so we could play "pass the baby" in the 6 foot room!

Time With the Fam

"Saturday I got to see Grandma & Grandpa at the auction at Great Uncle Scorch's house. Can you believe someone even bought Uncle Don's trash! Scorch would be happy - he always knew anything he touched turned to gold!"

"On Father's Day I serenaded Daddy, Grandpa and Great Papa with my version of 'Row Your Boat' ... hint hint Grandpa - I'm ready for my first boat ride!"
"And everyone laughed at me when they saw what a mess Grandma and I made with my prune dinner."
"The PT of the family gave me a superb report on my reflex integration testing - of course Mommy already knew that!"
"Look at my beautiful head righting! I'm glad I tantrumed at bedtime to get to stay-up for this excitement."

On This Day Last Year...

"Mommy told me what an exciting day this was last year for her and Daddy. It was the day they found out I was a "Mr. Peanut." This bib is one of the things they bought that day to celebrate my upcoming arrival!"

Happy Birthday Grandma!

"To celebrate Grandma special day, Mommy and I brought lunch to Grandma's school. I got to see the ducklings, meet the kids Grandma works with, play with the fun visitors sticker and meet her co-workers. Happy Birthday Grandmama!"

We decided to hit the mall to cool-off this afternoon. Nicholas loved babbling up a storm in the fitting room!

Tuesday With Papa

It was such a beautiful afternoon, we thought to spend it with Great Papa! Nicholas had his sweet potatoes out on the deck.

"They taste the same here!"

And then D.J. Nicholas played Papa a few songs on his Sesame Street Mixer.

On our way home from checking out Olivia's new playset, Nicholas found the need to adjust his sun canopy.

Sunny Sunday

"After a morning nap (Mommy deserved it - since I woke up at 4am), Mommy and I went over to have a delicious breakfast with Grandpa and Grandma in their garden. The adults had scrambled eggs with veggies and I dined on pears for the first time. I enjoyed sitting out with Grandpa. He showed me their fish pond and I noticed a squirrel that came to drink at the pond."

"Finally, Daddy came home and brought me this souvenir from Lake George. Mommy always saw these silly things and wondered who bought them...I guess we now know who!!! Daddy said he was really looking for a biker bandanna for me, but couldn't find one. I think next year we all should go to Americade and I'll search for the perfect biker outfit for me!"

Another Day At The Office

Nicholas works 7 days a week....its a lot of play, play and play for this 7 month old!

Splishing & Splashing... 3 Times!!!

"This morning Daddy left for a trip to Lake George for Bike Week. Mommy seems a little sad, since this is the first year she isn't going....but I'm a happy boy that I get Mommy all to myself."

"With the 95 degree weather, it was the perfect day for me to try out my personal swimming pool. I just loved all my teethers - I mean water toys." "Sister Zoey enjoyed the afternoon with us too."
"Later, we joined Olivia & Brandi at the Country Club. It was my first time in a huge outdoor pool. I had a great time watching Livi spash - she just loved the water. I really hope she will join my swim classes this summer."

"After all that swimming, I ended my busy day with fun in the tubby!"

Oh Too Many Greeks

Nicholas had his first introduction to Greek music with our annual visit to the Greek Fest.

Unfortunately, EVERY Greek in CNY was there tonight, with lines a mile long.
